We had a very inspiring session by Sneha D'Souza where we spent 90 minutes learning how to manage classroom behaviour using positive, non threatening means. Entitled 'Behaviour Management Cycle', this interactive session reminded us that the teacher is the one in charge of the classroom situation. This can be best achieved through sincere preparation bearing in mind the needs, the level and the aspirations of the learner. She led us through a series of strategies involving low key responses and high key responses that could help usher an organised classroom. Practice Teaching ethos is sure to be healthier due to this session. Three cheers for Sneha !

God gives talent. Work transforms talent into genius. Today we saw a combination of talent, hard work and genius as our batch of 2014-15 put up a superb programme to celebrate Teachers' Day. A very meaningful prayer started the programme on the right note. Presentations, games, surprise prizes and songs followed. The Talent Display saw wonderful works of art by many students.....the exquisite embroidery, the creative craft articles, passionate paintings and exquisite jewellery had us all mesmerized.
The Talent Search revealed different facets of the students' personalities as we swayed to melodious singing, enjoyed the graceful dances and laughed at the wonderful mimicry. The scintillating solo performances by Rosmine, Gayatri and Nimisha were applauded by all. The novel performance by Gayatri and group and the energetic dancing by Cynthia and group had our feet tapping. Students you made our day. Thanks a tonne! God Bless you all and may you use your talents for the benefit of those you interact with.
