Pushpanjali College of Education

Pushpanjali College of Education, Vasai, Maharashtra was established in 1990. The college is permanently affiliated to University of Mumbai. In 2011, the college was re-accredited by NAAC with ‘A’ grade and a CGPA of 3.29. The college has 12B and 2f status accorded by UGC and is recognized by NCTE. It is an unaided college with Christian Minority status. The medium of instruction is English. (However, students may answer the examination in Marathi if they wish to). The College has an intake capacity of 50 seats per year.


Located in a lush environment, it overlooks tall evergreens, giving it the right ambiance for teacher training. The establishment of the college was a dream come true for the people of Vasai and other places in Thane District as there was no B.Ed College in the area. The College, managed by the Society of Our Lady of Grace Convent, is one of the institutions run by the Congregation of the Carmelite Religious.
